Craftella Scrapbooking: Moving Was Really GREAT! - Craftella Scrapbooking

The move could not have gone any better!!!! So far I have only found two broken or damaged things....the first being a very cheap IKEA mixing bowl and then the sheet on our mattress got some grease from the moving truck on it...neither of which is a huge issue! I think I got the stain out, since I washed it last night. Honestly, moving 32 miles and that is the worst that happens, I couldnt ask for better!

I am SO in love with this house, it is ridiculous. So far I dont miss downtown at all! I woke up this morning at 5:50am, to pee. This is the baby's normal schedule lol Our master bedroom is huge and we only have to close the blinds on half of the windows, so as I walked past the second half I caught the sunrise over the lake. It was so beautiful. It took my breath away and I was instantly even more awake than I already felt.

I am so amped up to get this place all settled in, which explains how I fell asleep closer to 2 and woke up at 5:50 (plus a couple other potty breaks in there lol) I have a few things in the kitchen to put away. We thought we were done with it and found the last box last night when I realized my toaster wasnt in there haha.

We have a lot of shopping to do today for things we need around here. A new hamper, wicker baskets for the bathroom, etc. I am letting Jason sleep in, since he is better at sleeping than I am haha. So I just wrote up my weekly cleaning schedule. Mon-Fri, which would leave me time to just relax on weekends. I really want to try to stick to this, especially with the baby. I will test it out for a week or two and if I decide to switch days of rooms cleaned then that is fine. But it is a start!

We even got the boat docked yesterday. My brother just scared the crap out of me about 20 minutes ago because he showed up on my patio to drop something off. He cant fish today until 1pm or so when we get a city sticker for the boat. So his friend and he took the boat out of the water to go fish somewhere else until this afternoon. It took them a long time to get it out because there is no dock by the launch. lol I dont think he realized I was up. All of the sudden some man was walking up to my door while I was sitting on the couch! HAHA I freaked for a split second. We lived 9 floors up before, we never saw people in our "yard" haha TOO FUNNY!!!!

I attached two photos. I have never had a dining room or a table (well growing up we did, just not living on my own!) I am SO excited about my dining room. It is the ONLY completed room in the entire house right now. I LOVE my new table. I could just sit at it all day haha. If my feet were not still tired from all my standing yesterday I would be sitting there. But I have them up right now.
