Craftella Scrapbooking: My updates! - Craftella Scrapbooking

It seems like I am non stop busy lately. The days fly by and suddenly it is bedtime and then the next day begins. I updated our dry erase calendar in our kitchen last weekend and our May is already nearly filled up!
The good thing is that I have really started to adjust to motherhood. I have begun to freak out about things like my hubby dropping one chip crumb on the floor again. I had vacuumed and washed the floors not one hour before.....so it was a little irritated that he was messing it so quickly.Two nights ago Jason actually hugged me and said "She's back!" lol

I recently turned 26. Last Saturday to be exact. I cannot believe a year has already passed. It was probably the best birthday I have ever had. Jason made it quite wonderful. The gifts he gave me from Jack will be my favorite gifts for a long time. He helped Jack hand make a card for me! It literally had his hand prints all over it and even a foot print inside! I have never seen such a beautiful card! He also gave me lots of books from Jack about why Mommies are wonderful! We have been reading them to him nightly.

Then Jason really went all out and went online on the 26th and purchased the new Cricut Expression 2 from HSN! OMG am I in LOVE! It is wonderful! I had been hinting since January I believe that I wanted it. He remembered. I havent used it as much as I would like in the past week, but I did get to make my first birthday card with it for my little cousin. Jack sat on my lap at one point to help me (because he was fussing if he was anywhere else lol) He is one crafty baby!

I am looking forward to getting to play with it more and more.

Today we start swim lessons. I am so excited. Jack is a busy baby. Thursdays are Gymboree days and Saturdays are swim. Along with assorted activities we do during the week. I have noticed he has left the newborn stage and entered the infant stage. He laughs a lot, is incredibly alert, and sleeps a lot less. We play constantly and he enjoys it! He recognizes people besides Jason and myself. I love seeing him develop every day!

Being a mom is the best and hardest job I have ever had. I woudlnt change a thing!
