So....unfortunately it's been awhile since I've been active on Craftella...so I thought I'd drop by and say hello!
In August I took at position in my local school district. It was going to be a new avenue in my education field...but I was up to the challenge. I am an Instructional Assistant in the Early Childhood classroom. This room has been a blessing to me! I absolutely love the work. I work with special needs children. These kids have brought so much joy to my life in such a short amount of time! I love seeing their smiling faces everyday and I'm blessed to be a part of their lives. We've accomplished a lot over the past few months. Last week, before break began, we had our Christmas party and Santa came in to visit the kids! Watching their faces light up brought tears to my eyes! It was amazing! I work with 3 other amazing teachers and I'm proud to be a part of a great team!
So...now we are on Christmas Break! I'm enjoying every moment! Over the weekend...the hubby and I were "honeymooners" again. My parents took the kids for 3 days and we spent the time shopping, dining, and enjoying each others company. The kids had a blast, too! They love time with Mamaw and Papaw....not too mention cookie baking, movies, trip to see Santa, playing with cousins, and much much more! I finished all my shopping AND wrapping! So, the kids are back now and we are filling each day with great memories. They are getting SO excited for Santa's visit! I think I am just as excited as they are! We are having a Family Game night Christmas Eve with lots of great food! Christmas morning will start here are home and continue at Mamaw and Papaw's. Then Sunday...MORE PRESENTS....as we travel to St. Louis! We are looking forward to having a great time with our families!
