Where is my SD card?????

This is a very long story but i will try to keep it brief...Here goes. My husband and I decided to make a quick trip to Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby and Michaels this morning. (Me and quick trip to a craft store...not happening) I was really wanting to get a few more pictures printed to do the last layout for the bling contest so I go to the 1 hour machine, make my choices and the machine doesn't work. It will be Wednesday before I can get the pictures which is really no big deal except I had my heart set on doing this tonight. So I decided to use the Kodak machine that prints instantly. The quality isn't as good but....So I put the SD card in the slot. Well that machine was slow and I was in a rush. My husband was trying to help and thought maybe if we just start all over...he took the SD card out and accidently put it in the wrong slot. Down in the machine it fell. I tried very hard but the tears just rolled. It has been that kind of week. My poor hubby felt horrible and I knew he didn't mean to. This started about 11:00 and at 4:00 we finally walked out of Wal-Mart with SD card and pictures. The ladies in photo lab were great. They finally got in touch with Kodak and step by step talk them through the stages of taking the machine apart! My pictures were rescued!!! I will certainly let management know how wonderful those three employees were. Thinking of sending pizza over for lunch one day too. I'll figure out something nice to do for them. So that's how my day went. I am home safe and sound, hubby is finishing some orders for scroll saw wood work and I am about to start scrapping. I hope everyone has a great night.

wow! I can imagine how terrible you felt. I would be in a panic. I am glad they are safe and sound in your hands though!

You are so funny, Cynthia! I love reading your posts...your writing is very vivid and I can imagine that I am right there beside you. I had a similiar run-in at Wal*Mart....but unfortunately the photo clerk didn't really know what he was doing and ended up ERASING my SD card!!! Obviously I left in tears....I know he didn't mean to do it and there was no way of recovering...it had a lot of "firsts" for my daughter on there (pumpkin patch, hair cut, etc.) So, my hubby helped me re-create as easily as we could! I'm so happy they were able to recover your card! Have a great evening!
