I always love these types of desks. I think that if I narrowed my supplies down to fit in a desk that size I would get a lot more done. Now it just seems like I am always cleaning/rearranging stuff and no CRAFTING ever gets done. Looks beautiful, you have a great carpenter it looks like. Enjoy!

That is awesome. I designed a scrapbooking desk and hutch and my dad built it for me. In my opinion, it works much better than anything that is store bought. Enjoy yours!

They didnt use a pattern! They just built it themselves in the garage in one day! They designed it themselves. We spent a lot of time at Lowes (my father in law hates home depot, none of us know why really lol) They ended up returning all of the stuff they didnt use. But this was their little brainchild design. We told them they should go into business with this but neither of them were interested in that. We will be moving in the next year or so and Jason already is thinking of building me a bigger one when we have the extra space. I said he could just extend this one and he is not having it, he wants to start from scratch. The thing is, it only cost about 200 in supplies, way cheaper than any desk you can find like this. I was shocked!

Thanks for all of the compliments ladies! They did a great job and I am so thankful every time I sit at it!

simply love, love, love your custom cabinate. Would love to have that in my scrapbook room, but I'm the woodworker in our house and I don't think I could make something like that. What a great husband and father in law you have!!!
