Behind the scenes here at Craftella we have been working on lots of new things!!! We have been working hard to try to creatively come up with changes to make this site better. We wanted to get some feedback from all of our lovely members regarding the contest/challenges on here.

The question is...

Would you rather have the one big contest monthly, the $100 worth of scrapbooking supplies. Allowing one winner per month?
Or would you rather see more of the contests like the page challenges, card challenges, and even ones similar to the facebook contest we held? Allowing for more/multiple winners a month?

Da da da (dramatic sounds).....it is in your hands members!!!

as one of the monthly winners, it is pretty exciting to receive that email! But I think it's also cool to have multiple winners for all sorts of other things.

So, I"m really not much help because, to me, it doesn't really matter. I'm okay either way:)

I chose the 1 winner a month. It's just a personal thing for me. I can rarely compete in challenges and things like that. I am lucky if I get a page done a month because of time restraints. So I am just being a bit selfish...LOL

I did cast my vote but I was also thinking of the idea of alternating bymonthly. Why not have a big challenge one month and the next have multiple challenges and then back to the big challenge...that way we all win!
Just an idea.

I like all of the replies so far. The idea of alternating months is a good one. I, too. am having trouble doing contests because of health constraints but alternating seems most fair. One BIG prize one month & then several smaller challenges the next seems to give more members a chance to win.

I did cast a vote, but honestly don't have a preference. If I could get my act together and begin entering challenges, I might lean towards these. But, since I can't get my act together, I like the monthly contest. Alternating is a great compromise.

I really like the multiple challenges because it is great inspiration to get some new projects done. I agree with a quarterly larger prize - but I think that anyone should be able to win that based on any kind of participation on the website.

I like all of it, so im not much help. I love the challenges because it motivates me to get pages done and being the March winner of 100 dollars worth of scrapbook supplies was awesome, so i'm happy either way!!!

I voted for one monthly contest. After reading the other replies though, I agree that a quarterly challenge for a "big" prize would be nice with smaller multiple challenges throughout the month.
I would like to see challenges won based on skill, technique and/or overall eye appeal of the project rather than based on post entries. The voting could be done by "closed vote" as the polls are. Just a thought. Quite frankly, I probably have a better chance of "winning" a prize by random drawing rather than by any skill, technique and/or overall eye appeal of my projects. I am amazed by the skill level of some of the projects posted on here and would love to see those people recognized for their abilities.
Either way, I will continue to visit here as often as I do now. I will continue to post my thoughts, and I will continue to "scraplift" when I can. =o) The contest are not what I come here for - I come here because I know I can always learn something new by reading the questions and responses, I know I can always find inspiration in the gallery and I know I am among other people who are as "paper crafting addicted" as I am.
