I have a few pages of some people who are no longer in my life. A "friend" whom I never intend to be friendly with again. I do not care to really look at them. They don't bring any fond memories. I guess my question is....should I keep them? Or should I get rid of them? I did work hard on them at the time, so I feel torn, I dont care for the images on them though.....

What Would You Do?

I personally don't like to keep things that bring bad memories or feelings. I personally would toss them, but that is me. If you like what you did with them, maybe cover the photos with some blank paper, take a picture and be reminded of the wonderful work you did. I take pictures of all my layouts that I do anymore, Whether I am giving them away or putting them in an album for myself or my kids.

Normally I feel the same exact way! I would have no problem tossing it. But I really like the paper most of them are on....I do have photos of them already....so I can save those for "scraplift" ideas I suppose....hopefully I can actually toss them....it will take a lot to throw out something I made lol

I am in similiar situation. I am working on my 2009 book and I have pics of a girl that I'm not longer talking to but we were friends for two years. I am going to scrap some of them because her children are in them and I have fond memories of them even though i will probably never see them again. I look at it like this they were part of my life at that time and we can't erase our past so I will document them and move on.

I think that I'm the same as you. It's in the past, and you can't erase the past, and while the pages will ultimately rouse unpleasant memories, you're still documenting something that has happened and did bring you positive memories at the time.
I have issues throwing out my work (or anyone else's for that matter).
Good luck with this dilemma

well my problem has been (temporarily) solved. Since we are moving things have been packed and my hubby (with my permission) already packed up my scrapbooks. So for now they are all packed away. I doubt I will have time to sit down and look through them all while unpacking and getting the baby's room ready...on top of coming back to downtown Chicago to do work that needs to be done on our condo to sell it! So for now out of sight out of mind....I do have some pages with her son and like you stated scrapperd, I did have fond memories with him. I loved him dearly. So I guess this is a decision for another time! :-) Maybe I will put them away in a plastic 12x12 folder instead of in my books that people often look through (or I show off whichever you want to call it hehehe
