Ladies! I know that it's the middle of summer, but the time to start planning Christmas Cards is fast approaching. I want to see your cards! How many do you make? What do you put on them?

I'm making 2200 of the SAME card for my hubby's company, and I need something else to look at :)

I have yet to pick mine, but I am thinking of using designs I found on the starform.nl website. They have a ton of ideas. I usually only make a couple dozen to send to family and friends, but I don't like them to all be the same, so I'll make 24 different cards. It's a lot of fun. This summer, my mom and I have been taking some card classes and we've learned some new techniques and some new products that I'm thinking of using this year. I probably won't get started on my cards for another month or two, though (I'll probably make them in late October).

haha I have no idea what I am doing!!!!! things are so crazy with being pregnant and moving. I have given it SOME thought as I see the fall/winter lines being released. This is the first Christmas that I am done with school and no finals, so more free time on my little hands. I am considering doing Halloween ones too. I think I will think about it after we move this month and get all unpacked. I usually include a photo of us with the card. Last year I planned it a bit in advance, but this year with being preggo idk what I am going to do. If I will take a photo in November (but there will be a big difference in my size between then and Christmas haha sooo) We will see....So much to think about

that is a lot of cards you are making. You are really dedicated. Your hubby is a lucky guy...I could never make that many! I would likely never want to craft again!

Ah, but they are paying me a significant sum of cash to make them. So, I'll live with snowflakes for awhile. I'm going to start them this weekend. When it's 80+ degrees outside :)

haha well that is a horse of a different color! I hope the compensation is good! :D Good luck...thanks for getting my holiday card brain stimulated though. I am seriously considering sending Halloween cards out (it being my fave holiday) I cant wait to be settled in the new place so I can sit down and make those, at least for immediate family.

I had a request from my friend to make him some Christmas cards that had a dragon battling a snowman. He loves dragons and at first I was skeptical, but it is turning out pretty good. I just have to figure out what to do for a background.
