Correct me if that is not the actual name for this craft type, but that was the only thing I could think of calling it. I have dabbled in it here and there, but I am no artist in that sense! I do well painting things in as if I am coloring in the lines but I once tried drawing my own snowman on a plain wood piece. An artist friend of mine said it looked like a 5 year old did it lol oh well. BUT I am going to paint wood animals, circles, and letters for Jack's room.

I was at Joanns by my new home this week. It is the smallest Joanns I have ever been to! I was kind of spoiled in Chicago, the one there was HUGE! Which you would think it would be opposite, huge int he burbs, small in the city. Anyway their wood painting section was very small. I found their 3 bins of wood letters. Only one kind...they were all haphazardly mixed between three shelf bins. I want to paint Jackson in chocolate brown to hang on the baby blue wall above his crib. lol I spent about 20 minutes going through these letters one by one looking for his name. When I was all done there was not one "A" or "N" in the whole bunch! AHHH It drove me bananas. I am going to have to find another Joanns to stop at, or a Hobby Lobby.....poor lil guy! I will get his letters! I promise!

I am excited about doing this for his room!!! Hopefully it all looks as good as I am imagining it!
