This is based off of a blog posting here! We were talking about our addictions to shopping for scrapping goodies. I thought I would start a forum post for us to talk about our little problem of buying too many goodies! Anything goes really here. We can talk about how good or bad we have been with this lately! haha

lol...SSA...I am in. I go in to any scrapbook store and spend over my limit I had planned. I can go into a dollar store and somehow always find something I can use.

So It seems that several times a week I am buying supplies at the same store. But the thing is...I have all of these projects to do! I have people request them at all different times, so it is not like I could go make one giant purchase! I am starting to feel like a "user" haha a little ashamed every time I have to purchase something, like they are judging me! I cant help it though, people need invites, and baby books, and I need to do my own things too!!! AHHH haha My hubby recently told me he doesnt care how much money I spend on scrapping supplies because "he likes when I do pages" ummm this is trouble. It has been like carte blanche. And he has really stuck to his word. He hasnt said a thing to me about it! Now if I went and spent all of this money on clothing...then I would hear it until he was blue in the face!!!! So I guess I cant complain, but he is really an enabler

Hi. My name is Shelagh and I'm a scrap shopaholic. It's been 3 months since my last purchase.... :P

I'm absolutely horrible. I can walk into Michaels looking for something not related at all to scrapbooking and then just wander over to the scrapbooking aisle "just to see" what they have. Then I spend a hundred dollars on supplies that I don't really need right now. My husband hates it. I've discovered that the best way for me to not buy is to not go into the store. Recently, I've been really good with not buying stuff as I've been very busy with my kids and an online course that I've been doing. I haven't had time for scrapbooking or any of my other crafts, so I haven't needed to go shopping. The last thing I scrapped (not including the birthday card for my mother-in-law that I whipped together last night) was my christmas cards.

I bought scrapping supplies Saturday AND Sunday.....some were needed because I am working on some invitations for a baby shower, but the rest were not. They were spring things because I am working on a book from our Easter vacation LAST year. I finally got all of the photos printed. Now that all of the pretty Easter and Spring stuff is coming out I ended up picking some up, both days! oooops.... Now I need to get some pages done so it was not all in vain!

My name is Corinne and I have an addiction to scrap shopping. I am so bad that I have to buy some paper to use and some to keep...seriously...otherwise I will just keep it forever. I have a real problem.

I've been pretty bad lately too:) I keep a list of what I need and bring it with me so I always know what I'm looking for but I always seem to find something on sale that I sure could use (but it wasn't on the list).

Well girls, I did it again. I bought a whole bunch of new stuff. Mostly paper. Like I need anymore, but man, it's so pretty. I did manage to make a thank you card for my boyfriend's uncle with some new stuff I bought a couple of weeks ago. I just can't stop buying pretty things! It's horrible!

I think that, as long as you are using your stuff, that's what is important. There's nothing worse than buying something and several months or years later, looking at it and rolling your eyes, wondering why you bought it in the first place.

Hi, my name is Susan and I'm a scrapaholic. It's been 7 hrs since my last purchase. . .

I am sooooo bad. I'm more addicted to tools. ok, and paper and embellishments. I just purchased an i-Top today. Cool tool, but will I really use it a lot or will it collect dust???? That is the question.

Don't get me wrong. I really do love mine. I just haven't had much of a chance to use it. Every project I have made, I don't feel the need to use it. It's neat because you can use it to make an embellishment to match your page, instead of spending money on matching embellishments. My goal should be to incorporate this tool into my projects more.

Speaking of enabling, I found another use for my mom's Cricut! I have a 2-year-old son and we're just getting into doing crafts. I've been cutting out shapes (from the George and Basic cartridge) and animals (from the Animal Kingdom cartridge) from some of my extra paper to do some paper crafts with him. :P Now I find the need to go buy more paper.....

My name is Nikki and I have an addiction to buying paper. I have so much stock piled here that it would last me for years and I wouldn't run out...

haha nikki! I am VERY similar. I recently gave away a bunch of paper to my brothers gf and I still have an incredible amount left that I just cannot part with! It is out of control :D
